Late-Hour Read

A textbook pre-event drift. SPY closed within 0.2% of the open across all three indices. Breadth held the gain from yesterday at 56% above 50DMA. The tape spent the final hour in a 4-point range — no urgency to commit either direction before NVDA prints tonight.

The single CAT (ASML) is the cleanest read on the board. It pulled in tight all session on light volume, broke the prior day's high cleanly, and closed near the day's high. This is the setup you want overnight when you don't want to bet NVDA directly — sympathy upside if the print is good, contained downside if it isn't.

NVDA and ARM both get LIQUID_LAVA tags because the range expanded violently. Neither is a trade — they're observation events until the print resolves.

SHOP goes on the DOG list. The breakdown below the 8DMA after 14:00 invalidates the character-change read from last week. Off the watchlist for now.

Connection to the Morning Read

Today's daily called for no new exposure pre-print and waiting for the market to choose direction. The Close confirms: no urgency in the tape, no clean setups except ASML.

Tomorrow

NVDA after the bell drives everything. If the print resolves up, ASML is the immediate follow-through name. If it resolves down, the entire growth complex sees pressure for 24–48 hours and the GELB read leans toward GELB/ROT. Risk-level stays at 2 either way until Friday close confirms direction.

One report per week. No noise.
