Late Bid in Software, Energy Fades
| CRWD | CAT | Clean break of intraday high at 15:10, holding into the bell on rising RVOL. |
| NET | CAT | Reclaimed the morning gap on the 5-min, closed at HOD. |
| DDOG | CAT | Tight afternoon flag, broke out at 15:25 on 1.8× RVOL. |
| XLE | DOG | Sector ETF gave back +0.6% morning gain into a flat close. Energy rotation losing steam. |
Late-Hour Read
The last 30 minutes of the session re-tilted Monday's defensive rotation. Software names that spent most of the day flat picked up a bid after 15:00 — light volume but directionally clean. Energy, which led at midday, faded into the bell. Net read: the regime is still GELB but the internal rotation flipped late, which is the kind of action that often resolves toward growth the next session.
Connection to the Morning Read
The 05:00 ET daily called for a base-attempt after Friday's late fade. Today's tape supports that — no follow-through to the downside, and the late-hour bid in software is the first constructive signal for momentum in three sessions.
Tomorrow
Two of three CATs (CRWD, DDOG) are still in clean structure with overnight upside. NET is the cleanest single setup — gap-reclaim plus HOD close is a high-priority watch tomorrow into NVDA earnings (Wednesday post-close). XLE goes back on the watchlist but the trade is dead for now.
One report per week. No noise.
